Site Reliability Engineer II (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid work required from an office in Austin, TX; Irvine, CA; or Akron, OH

Salary: $98,583–$138,016 annually

What you will do

• Respond to production incidents, perform triage and troubleshooting, and contribute to post-incident analysis and root cause investigations.
• Support and improve cloud infrastructure, applications, monitoring, observability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implement infrastructure automation and maintain cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Participate in change management and a 24x7 on-call rotation to maintain production uptime.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, vendors, IT, and security teams to resolve operational issues and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, technical diagrams, runbooks, monitoring procedures, and incident response documentation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or cloud operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and services including AKS, ECS/EKS, Functions/Lambda, S3, or Blob Storage.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, YAML, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong Linux engineering skills, working knowledge of Windows administration, and experience supporting production environments and on-call rotations.
• Familiarity with Nginx, Apache Tomcat, GitLab, Git, and similar CI/CD tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Site24x7, or Nagios.
• Knowledge of performance analysis and system vulnerability remediation.
• AWS or Azure cloud certification.
• Experience with restaurant-industry SaaS platforms and customer-facing applications.
