Software Test Engineer

TL;DR

Software Test Engineer: Ensuring the quality of user-facing data applications with an accent on testing analytical queries, aggregations, and data transformations. Focus on working across frontend, backend, and data layers in CI/CD environments, and maintaining high code and data quality standards.

Location: Hybrid, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office. Must have Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Test data-heavy, user-facing applications, working across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Test complex analytical queries and aggregations using advanced SQL skills.
• Utilize Robot Framework and Selenium (or equivalent browser automation tools) for testing.
• Work in CI/CD environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, data-focused test engineer, or in a hybrid role.
• Strong professional experience with Python and advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Selenium (or equivalent browser automation tools).
• Strong opinions on code and data quality.
• Fluency in English, minimum C1 level.
• Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
