What you will do

• Build and maintain distributed data pipelines using Scala, Spark, and cloud technologies.
• Design and optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows across blockchain and traditional datasets.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deliver reliable, scalable data systems.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in systems processing hundreds of millions of daily data points.
• Strengthen pipeline reliability, observability, and automation through continuous code improvements.
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs regarding performance, scalability, and cost.

Requirements

• Experience delivering and maintaining distributed data pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of Spark, Databricks, or similar big data frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data architecture trade-offs including scalability and resilience.
• Interest in functional programming.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming processing concepts like delivery semantics or partitioning.
• Hands-on work with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools including Docker or Kubernetes.
• Interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.
