What you will do

• Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to solve ambiguous business problems.
• Act as owner for a broad scope of data and metrics, from core logging to data visualizations.
• Maintain statistical rigor, ensuring experimentation and causal analyses build stakeholder confidence.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Growth teams to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and deep-dive analyses to monitor company performance.
• Partner with leadership to establish and maintain core business KPIs, ensuring alignment across teams.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Physics, or Computer Science) with ≥5+ years of relevant experience or a PhD in a quantitative field with ≥3+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in driving impactful data science projects that tackle ambiguous problem spaces.
• Ability to influence external stakeholders by synthesizing data learnings into compelling stories.
• Practical expertise in applying complex modeling frameworks to practical business problems.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; ability to write and optimize complex queries for large datasets.
• Experience with BI tools (Amplitude, Looker, Mode, Metabase, or equivalent).
