Location: Must be based in Beijing, China. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office at least four days per week.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize LLM prompt engineering techniques such as Chain of Thought, ReAct, and Few-Shot Learning.
• Improve model accuracy, contextual understanding, and reliability while minimizing hallucinations.
• Design and implement scalable software applications utilizing AI techniques.
• Collaborate with product, AI/ML, and engineering teams to integrate LLM-powered solutions into Copilot.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing systems using LLMs and perform inference tuning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering and AI best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional technical engineering experience with languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and a deep understanding of prompt engineering.
• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as LangChain.
• Solid understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and RAI principles.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and make architectural decisions for AI-powered applications.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree with 6+ years or Bachelor’s with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in optimizing LLM inference efficiency including latency reduction.
• Background in AI-powered web, mobile, or backend development.
