Principal Product Manager (AI): Responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoftβs Ads audience platform powering ads targeting and personalization with an accent on identity, machine learning, and large-scale data systems. Focus on unlocking intelligent audience capabilities that drive measurable impact for advertisers and enable richer personalization experiences across Microsoft products.
Location: Must live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location and are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.
Salary: USD $139,900 β $274,800 per year.

What you will do
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoftβs Ads audience platform powering ads targeting and personalization.
- Build scalable infrastructure that enables audiences to be defined once and activated across multiple surfaces including search, native, display, video, and gaming.
- Partner with data science and applied research teams to design and launch machine learningβbased audience models that improve reach, relevance, and advertiser performance.
- Drive experimentation and evaluation frameworks to measure audience quality, performance lift, and coverage.
- Establish best practices for experimentation, customer feedback loops, and data-driven product development across the audience platform team.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of identity resolution, audience modeling, and data activation in advertising ecosystems.
- Solid analytical mindset with experience using data and experimentation to guide product decisions.
- Excellent communication β able to translate technical and economic concepts into executive language.
Nice to have
- Bachelorβs Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience in building advertising audience and/ or identity solutions.
