Android Engineer (Fintech)

Location: This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $128,000 - $150,000 USD (Menlo Park, CA)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Android features that support brokerage and trading experiences.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure accurate and timely data delivery in mobile applications.
• Improve app performance, reliability, and responsiveness across key trading workflows.
• Write and maintain tests to ensure correctness of application behavior.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to improve engineering quality.

Requirements

• You bring 0-3 years experience building Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• You have experience building UI using Android Views and/or Jetpack Compose.
• You have experience integrating APIs and handling real-time or near real-time data.
• You write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• You are comfortable debugging performance issues and improving application reliability.
• You communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers.
