What you will do

• Own the entire mobile product lifecycle from conceptualization through architectural design to final launch.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for privacy-focused mobile applications.
• Implement and oversee robust testing, monitoring, and release processes to ensure application security and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user workflows and deliver a cohesive user journey.
• Architect solutions to protect sensitive data including PII and secure voice/SMS traffic.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional Android software development experience.
• Strong background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of the Android ecosystem including architecture and app lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate effectively, iterate quickly, and maintain high standards for product quality.
• Eligibility or willingness to obtain a U.S. security clearance is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Android concurrency and storage frameworks such as Coroutines, Room, and DataStore.
• Understanding of cryptography, trusted execution environments, or cellular technologies like eSIM and 5G.
• Familiarity with privacy-focused Android operating systems.
