What you will do

• Audit and refine existing brand visual identity and digital assets.
• Develop a scalable, modular design system, including tokens and component documentation.
• Apply the design system across public web templates, member portals, and print materials.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure effective implementation in React and Storybook environments.
• Design for accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+) with specific consideration for older adult users.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 8+ years of experience in visual or brand design.
• Expert Figma proficiency including component architecture and design tokens.
• Deep understanding of accessible design standards.
• Experience designing within large, live product ecosystems.
• Ability to articulate design rationales to cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless CMS environments like Prismic or Contentful.
• Background in Medicare or insurance-focused design.
• Experience with design system governance or phased rollouts.
