What you will do

• Own the complete UX vision and strategy for the Unity platform from research insights through production.
• Apply systems thinking to simplify complex relationships between patients, providers, lab processes, and data systems.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and delivery.
• Drive the evolution of the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
• Mentor junior designers and contractors while building a culture of design excellence.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure design intent is maintained and aligns with clinical goals.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in UX, product design, or service design.
• 3+ years of leadership experience owning design strategy.
• Proven track record designing for healthcare, biotech, or similarly complex regulated environments.
• Expert proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Miro.
• Deep understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FDA).
• Ability to work hybrid in Menlo Park, CA.
