What you will do

• Lead end-to-end innovation and early-phase development projects from concept to validation.
• Drive technical pre-studies and feasibility investigations for next-generation products.
• Lead concept development, rapid prototyping, and iterative design cycles.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams across R&D, product, and business departments.
• Apply Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) to structure project maturity and progression.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and successful handover into R&D development.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Engineering or a relevant field required
• 8+ years of experience in MedTech R&D or regulated industries
• Fluency in both Swedish and English required
• Solid experience in product development of complex, integrated embedded systems
• Proven track record leading cross-functional technology development teams
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation and modeling
• Background in customer workflows and UX validation
• Deep understanding of TRL frameworks
