What you will do

• Lead the development of desktop screen capturing, auditing, and analytics gathering systems.
• Architect robust solutions for PII/PCI redaction using trigger-based desktop activity monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and technical strategies.
• Identify and implement platform improvements, upholding high engineering standards and best practices.
• Manage architectural tradeoffs between native, Electron, and browser-based implementation approaches.
• Analyze customer requirements to own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact features.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of technical ownership.
• Strong background in building native desktop applications for Windows or macOS.
• Deep familiarity with OS-level APIs (e.g., Win32, AVFoundation, ScreenCaptureKit).
• Expertise in low-level systems programming including memory management, concurrency, and IPC.
• Experience implementing video/audio pipelines and performance optimization for screen recording systems.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with WebRTC, Chromium, or Electron.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
