What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for distributed cloud-based systems and microservices.
• Design and implement automated tests using Java-based frameworks like JUnit and TestNG.
• Test APIs and backend services using tools such as RestAssured or Karate.
• Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify testing gaps and improve quality engineering practices.
• Support end-to-end and cross-system testing across web, backend, and data layers.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience building automation frameworks for backend systems.
• Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments like AWS and with distributed systems.
• Solid grasp of core Java fundamentals including OOP and exception handling.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD-style testing frameworks.
• Exposure to both cloud-native and on-premise architectures.
• Comprehensive understanding of testing strategies across frontend, backend, and data layers.
