Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to the Paris Office. Visa sponsorship available for relocation to New York or Paris.

What you will do

• Design and maintain the backend data layer powering the company's generative AI products.
• Own the architecture and operations of high-throughput PostgreSQL systems.
• Build and optimize ClickHouse pipelines for large-scale analytical workloads.
• Write high-quality, performant Rust software.
• Define schema evolution and data modeling processes to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical development with product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Significant experience in backend or infrastructure software development.
• Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL including replication, query optimization, and schema design.
• Production experience with ClickHouse ingestion and performance tuning.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on robustness.
• Proven track record of shipping technical products under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work from the Paris office.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
