What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for commerce products.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging processes.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and monitor service health as part of a You Build It, You Run It culture.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high system availability and reliability.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions to uphold team standards.
• Solve moderately complex problems by proposing new perspectives on existing system architectures.

Requirements

• BS/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience developing and deploying production-grade microservices or distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and databases.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Grafana or Splunk.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
