Lead UI Artist (Gamedev): Leading a team of UI artists and designers across multiple unannounced titles with an accent on shaping the vision, aesthetic, and implementation of the UI. Focus on collaborating with cross-functional teams to define workflows and ensure high-quality UI that meets artistic vision and technical constraints.

Location: Based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment. This role is only open to applicants who have the permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide or take over visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.

What you will do

• Lead the UI team, design and iterate UX, and drive UI/UX deliverables.
• Build a UX strategy for a brand-new game, helping to shape the UX vision in collaboration with the Design team.
• Drive the delivery and quality of the UI, mentoring and supporting UI designers, artists, and technical designers.
• Proactively manage team performance and development through regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Guide the creation of high-quality UI, ensuring this meets both the artistic vision and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define and evolve workflows, pipelines, and long-term UI/UX goals.

Requirements

• Experience designing UX/UI.
• Experience managing a small team through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Portfolio showing experience designing high fidelity UI using industry standard tools, e.g., Adobe XD, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc.
• Able to effectively communicate whilst building long-term, trusting relationships with a wide range of people.
• Passionate about video games & games development.
