What you will do

• Scale and lead a security engineering organization, managing a team of top-flight security engineers.
• Build and own the security roadmap, transitioning to an enterprise-grade security organization.
• Drive security prioritization at a leadership level, advising on risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead trust & transparency efforts, overseeing HIPAA, SOC2, SOC1, PCI, and HITRUST processes.
• Act as a security evangelist, educating and empowering employees across all teams.
• Manage third-party relationships, coordinating penetration testing and vendor security reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a track record of building and leading teams in startup and scaled environments.
• Expertise in security compliance, especially with HIPAA.
• Adaptable and flexible, ready to engage with security challenges at both enterprise and customer levels.
• Ability to read, understand, and audit systems, networks, and IT setups.
