What you will do

• Lead environment art and coordinate worldbuilding across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and coach a talented team of artists through all production phases.
• Define and implement scalable art workflows and high-quality standards.
• Develop internal and external style guides to maintain visual consistency.
• Foster a collaborative culture that encourages growth and creative feedback.
• Account for visual goals and directions set by the art director.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a senior or lead role within AAA game development.
• Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, as well as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max, and Substance.
• Deep understanding of stylized art and environment design principles for competitive games.
• Experience managing teams across environment art, skybox art, lighting, and palette art.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in platformer genre development.
• Experience with high-angle isometric camera perspectives.
• Background leading teams on live-service games.
