What you will do

• Manage and scale a team of frontend engineers while partnering with Tech Leads and Product Managers to define and execute strategy.
• Own the development of critical identity-related experiences, including Unified Login, passkeys, 2FA, and shared component libraries.
• Drive technical initiatives such as mobile sign-in performance, account management modernization, and robust testing infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies between backend identity teams, design, and product groups to ensure timely delivery.
• Uphold production reliability and quality standards, including on-call support, deployment rigor, and incident resolution.
• Coach and develop team members, while actively participating in hiring efforts to attract top engineering talent.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, specifically leading frontend or full-stack teams.
• Strong fluency in React, React Native, TypeScript, and modern web performance optimization techniques.
• Proven track record of shipping high-traffic, high-quality user experiences at scale.
• Experience managing complex dependencies across backend, design, and product organizations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business vision.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Background in authentication, identity management, or security-focused user flows.
• Experience building mobile-first or hybrid native/web experiences at scale.
• Familiarity with standards like WebAuthn, OAuth, or modern authentication protocols.
