What you will do

• Provide end-to-end legal and regulatory guidance for new features, product enhancements, and market expansions.
• Lead the assessment and mitigation of regulatory risks for spot and derivatives trading, payments, and emerging Web3 verticals.
• Partner directly with product, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate legal requirements into development processes.
• Build and maintain scalable product compliance frameworks and controls.
• Lead engagement with regulators and external counsel regarding product-related matters across diverse regions.
• Conduct cross-functional training to improve regulatory awareness and governance.

Requirements

• Qualified legal professional with 10+ years of experience in regulatory roles, ideally in tech, finance, or crypto.
• Deep knowledge of global financial product regulations, derivatives, payment systems, and digital assets.
• Proven ability to work embedded within product and engineering teams to influence product strategy.
• Experience managing complex regulatory compliance matters and engaging directly with regulators.
• Strong background in leading and scaling international legal teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented business approach.
