What you will do
- Design and implement features for current and future PlayStation rendering APIs.
- Develop graphics software that enables efficient game development and advances GPU programming.
- Help shape the long-term direction of the PlayStation graphics stack.
- Collaborate with platform software, hardware, and game development teams.
- Advocate for game developers when working with platform teams and for platform teams when working with game developers.
- Determine implementation priorities, write code, debug, and contribute directly to the engineering work.
Requirements
- Experience and interest in low-level graphics architecture and engineering.
- Experience writing rendering code on top of multiple existing rendering APIs.
- Experience writing rendering code for consoles.
- Ability to maintain a broad perspective while working on complex technical details.
- Willingness to learn and take long-term responsibility for platform technology.
