TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands (hybrid)

What you will do

  • Develop data integration solutions using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL processes for data transformation.
  • Build RESTful APIs and web applications.
  • Optimize data models and SQL scripts for performance and scalability.
  • Work in AWS cloud environments to build reliable architectures.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle within an agile team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software or data engineer.
  • Strong Java development expertise, including Spring Boot, Maven, and JDBC.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.
  • Experience with design patterns and object-oriented principles.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with version control via GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Vertica or other columnar databases.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Good command of Dutch.
  • Familiarity with agile tools like TFS.
