is a global AI product company currently building its founding engineering team in China.
What you will do
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for China-based product and engineering roles from intake to onboarding.
- Source senior technical talent using relationship-driven channels like LinkedIn China, Maimai, and technical communities.
- Partner with founders and leadership to clarify requirements and calibrate the technical hiring bar.
- Screen candidates for technical depth, ownership mindset, and execution capability.
- Manage interview feedback loops and maintain hiring pipeline visibility.
- Define and implement the China technical hiring strategy, including market mapping and compensation benchmarking.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-cycle technical recruitment within the Chinese market.
- Fluency in Mandarin and strong working English.
- Demonstrated success hiring software engineers, ML engineers, and product managers.
- Deep understanding of China-specific technical talent sourcing channels.
- Experience with ATS systems and tracking hiring metrics.
- Ability to operate independently with high ownership and urgency.
