Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Singapore; on-site five days per week

hirify.global is building an AI-powered infrastructure layer for global commerce that combines payments, AI, stablecoins, compliance, risk management, fraud prevention, chargebacks, reconciliation, and customer support.

What you will do

• Build and scale secure, reliable, and high-performance systems for the payments platform.
• Own critical systems end to end, from architecture and technical design through development, launch, and iteration.
• Develop across the stack with React and TypeScript on the frontend, Node and TypeScript on the backend, and modern serverless infrastructure.
• Shape architectural direction, engineering standards, and technical decisions as the company scales.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn complex payments problems into simple, high-quality customer experiences.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration while remaining hands-on.

Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering experience building complex, high-impact systems.
• Strong full-stack experience with deep proficiency in modern backend development.
• Experience owning complex systems end to end and making high-impact architectural decisions.
• Strong understanding of scalable, reliable, and secure systems, including cloud-based or serverless infrastructure.
• Strong product intuition, communication, collaboration, ownership, and technical leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or fast-paced startup environments.
• Experience with cryptocurrency or blockchain.
