Software Development Engineer, LaserJet R&D (AI): Building and integrating software applications, databases, reporting solutions, automation tools, and AI-assisted engineering workflows for product qualification, validation, performance testing, and laboratory operations with an accent on scalable data platforms, web technologies, and engineering automation. Focus on integrating backend services and databases, resolving complex software and test-execution issues, and enabling data-driven decision-making across hardware R&D teams.
Location: Singapore, South West, Singapore

What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and optimize software applications, databases, web portals, reporting solutions, and user interfaces for engineering test environments.
- Integrate software applications, databases, backend services, and web technologies to maintain reliable performance and data integrity.
- Build secure data-management solutions for data collection, storage, processing, visualization, and reporting.
- Develop automation tools that streamline engineering workflows and improve test-execution efficiency.
- Troubleshoot software, database, application-integration, and test-execution issues affecting engineering operations.
- Partner with Hardware R&D engineers and global R&D organizations to deliver software, automation, analytics, and AI-powered engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Typically 5–7 years of experience in software development, application support, engineering systems support, or related R&D environments.
- Experience supporting business-critical software platforms, databases, web applications, and integrated engineering systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Role location: Singapore.

- Experience supporting laboratory, manufacturing, validation, or engineering test environments.
- Experience with automation, reporting systems, and engineering workflow applications.
- Experience working within a global product development organization.
