What you will do

• Define and document technical architecture for large-scale software solutions.
• Apply deep knowledge of travel industry processes, including GDS/NDC, booking systems, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to ensure designs meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Research and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance product offerings.
• Provide architectural governance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define integration patterns and APIs for internal and external travel systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of architectural design experience specifically in the travel, airline, or hospitality sector.
• Extensive experience with modern architectural patterns like Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Serverless.
• Proven background in high-volume, transactional systems and distributed computing.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, Python, or C#).
• Experience with data modeling using relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with New Distribution Capability (NDC) or related IATA standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Relevant cloud platform certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
