What you will do

• Design and optimize multimodal AI models for real-time inference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into the platform.
• Improve memory efficiency, latency, and throughput for high-performance deployments.
• Keep pace with research in generative AI, transformers, and diffusion models.
• Implement rigorous testing and deployment best practices for production scaling.

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Belgium or Italy
• Proven experience in developing and deploying multimodal models.
• Strong background in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Proficiency in NLP, computer vision, and speech processing techniques.
• Familiarity with model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation).
• Understanding of distributed or high-performance computing.

Nice to have

• PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or AI.
• 5+ years of relevant post-graduation experience.
• Experience with deployment frameworks like TensorRT or ONNX.
• Experience deploying models on edge devices or in-memory computing systems.
