Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal, with a requirement to work in-office 3 days a week.

What you will do

  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and support routine operational People Operations tasks.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and administrative documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with Portuguese labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Oversee local facility management, inventory, and office vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with global People Operations teams to align local initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Support employees and managers through clear, proactive communication in both English and Portuguese.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in finance or fast-paced corporate environments.
  • Proven proficiency with major HRIS platforms like Dayforce or Workday.
  • Solid understanding of Portuguese labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Portuguese is required.
  • Ability to work 3 days a week in the Porto office.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or recognized Portuguese HR qualifications.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling global organization.
  • Foundational knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
