TL;DR
Fullstack Developer (Java/Angular): Developing and deploying web applications within banking, insurance, public, or energy sectors with an accent on clean code, REST APIs, and database integration. Location: Must be based in Brussels, Belgium (VIE program eligibility required: European citizen under 29, never worked in Belgium under an employment contract)

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to implement functional requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications with scalable and secure code.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
- Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Eligibility for the VIE program (European citizen, under 29, no prior work contract in Belgium).
- Fluency in English and French (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (version 8+ preferred).
- Experience or strong understanding of REST APIs and SQL databases.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work in an agile environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
