Fullstack Developer Java/Angular (VIE) F/M/X

Location: Brussels, Belgium. The role is under the VIE program and requires European Union citizenship, age under 29, and no previous employment contract in Belgium.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications with Java and Angular.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to implement functional requirements.
• Maintain and enhance applications using clean, scalable, and secure code.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge with the team.
• Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Agile processes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Academic or initial professional experience in fullstack development.
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, SQL databases, and web application architecture.
• Experience or interest in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Fluent English and French, written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Eligible for the VIE program: European Union citizen under 29 years old who has never worked in Belgium under an employment contract.
