What you will do

• Collaborate across engineering teams to identify and implement improvements to the core technology stack.
• Establish and maintain shared libraries to ensure standardization, high code quality, and reduced duplication.
• Design and deploy observability projects including performance metrics, log aggregation, and alerting systems.
• Lead in-depth technical design discussions to influence best practices and architectural decisions.
• Balance rapid delivery with the need for high-quality, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Foster a strong testing culture to minimize technical debt and improve overall system reliability.

Requirements

• Expert coding skills in Golang.
• Proven experience in establishing shared libraries and standardizing engineering practices.
• Solid background in building application observability and performance monitoring systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functional teams to execute complex engineering projects.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent soft skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical communication gaps.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Gitops, and Helm.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and security best practices.
