What you will do

• Lead the technical direction of infrastructure services and platform architecture.
• Build secure, scalable solutions for digital asset custody, staking, and trading.
• Design virtual accounting layers, API integrations, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design documentation, and mentorship.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform features from architecture to production and on-call support.
• Collaborate with compliance, security, and legal teams to meet rigorous financial regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend services and distributed systems.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience designing customer-facing APIs and multi-tenant platform architectures.
• Strong background in cloud-native microservices and production system maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform on-call support and incident response for critical systems.
• Expertise in computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with C++, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Background in fintech, banking-as-a-service, or digital ledger systems.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory standards (e.g., SOC 2, bank examinations).
• Experience with system security, identity management, and authentication.
