What you will do

• Design and architect major product features using advanced AI to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Anticipate system bottlenecks and proactively re-architect components for performance.
• Lead high-impact product initiatives, balancing speed of delivery with long-term system stability.
• Maintain high code quality standards and contribute to engineering process development.
• Mentor engineers and act as a technical leader while remaining hands-on with implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, building and scaling systems to meet production SLAs.
• Expertise in distributed systems and architectural trade-offs.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker), queuing systems (Kafka), and databases (Postgres).
• Proven ability to own end-to-end execution from concept to deployment.
• Must be local to San Francisco or willing to commute for hybrid work 3 days per week.
