What you will do

• Define the long-term technical strategy for AI systems, covering data ingestion to model deployment.
• Build and scale production-grade ML pipelines from scratch (0 to 1).
• Embed security, privacy, and compliance frameworks directly into data infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams of AI, ML, and data engineers.
• Drive best practices for MLOps, including monitoring, drift detection, and performance tracking.
• Partner with product, security, and GTM teams to align AI capabilities with business requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI roles.
• Proven track record of building production ML systems from scratch and scaling them.
• Deep programming expertise in Python.
• Strong background in data processing frameworks (Spark, Beam, Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience leading technical teams and setting engineering standards.

Nice to have

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
• Proficiency in Scala or Java.
