Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan; role follows a hybrid office policy (minimum 25% on-site).

What you will do
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with key Japanese enterprise decision-makers.
- Serve as a technical advisor for Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code integrations.
- Monitor and optimize customer usage patterns to drive adoption and realized value.
- Develop Japan-specific customer success playbooks and best practices.
- Bridge communication between local customer needs and global internal teams (Product, Research, GTM).
- Document customer ROI and business outcomes to support contract expansions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (CSM, Consulting, or Solutions Architecture).
- Fluency in English (Mandarin or Korean is a plus).
- Must be based in or willing to commute to the Tokyo office for a hybrid work schedule.
- Deep technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, APIs, and software implementation patterns.
- Proven ability to manage growth in both consumption-based and seat-based business models.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
