What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data pipelines for analytics and operational use.
• Own and operate cloud-based infrastructure following a “you build it, you run it” model.
• Develop and manage data products in collaboration with product managers, analysts, and engineering teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Build deep domain expertise and work effectively across teams with multiple dependencies.
• Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with streaming platforms or message queues such as Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and associated architectural trade-offs.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with stream processing frameworks (Flink, Kafka Streams, or Spark).
• Experience with Python.
