What you will do

  • Build and maintain robust tooling for data transformation, visualization, and AI integration.
  • Design a scalable data architecture that ensures easy discovery and global reuse of data products.
  • Partner with data teams to prioritize business opportunities and deliver solutions with high impact.
  • Foster a community of practice through training, documentation, and collaborative standards.
  • Lead and mentor a multi-skilled team of 3–5 engineers to support their professional development.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the full analytics development lifecycle.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt.
  • Solid foundation in software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholders and prioritize value across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven experience in building scalable and reusable data architectures.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading or managing small technical teams.
  • Knowledge of BI platforms such as Lightdash, Looker, Omni, or Metabase.
  • Experience in managing software vendor relationships.
