What you will do
- Write clean, production-grade Python code for AI integrations and backend services.
- Design and build agentic AI solutions and optimize RAG systems for real-world business challenges.
- Lead technical discovery, scoping, and architecture design in client-facing engagements.
- Define technical direction, produce design documentation, and establish standards for the Python practice.
- Mentor engineering team members and facilitate code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders as a lead technical advisor.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA (role includes 401k and US benefits).
- 7+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP, design patterns, and FastAPI/Django.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agentic workflows, and RAG systems.
- Expertise in AWS services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS, Lambda).
- English: B2+ required for collaboration with distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.
- Modern Python tooling knowledge (uv, ruff, pyright).
- Experience with Go, Node.js, or Rust.
- CI/CD pipeline management using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
