What you will do

• Build and ship backend features for an AI agent platform using Python and FastAPI on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own end-to-end development, including scope collaboration, implementation, testing, and production iteration.
• Improve agent execution runtimes, external tool orchestration, and system resilience.
• Integrate LLM capabilities and agent frameworks into the core product.
• Maintain high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, test coverage, and CI/CD improvements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin for at least 3 days per week
• English: Professional proficiency required for effective communication and AI interaction
• Strong industry experience with Python backend development
• Demonstrable experience building and operating RESTful APIs and working with databases
• Proven experience integrating with AWS or similar cloud providers

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, DynamoDB, or Postgres
• Background in LLM application development, agent frameworks, or developer tools
• Experience with distributed systems, async task processing, or observability tooling
• Prior ops or on-call experience
