Information Systems Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Interpret DAAPM and RMF requirements to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Develop system documentation for information system authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls across networked and standalone information systems.
• Monitor infrastructure for indicators of compromise utilizing SIEM and cybersecurity toolsets.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop secure technical solutions.
• Travel to offsite locations (up to 50%) to establish compliance and provide authorization artifacts.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract mandates.
• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in a STEM discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of related professional experience.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Deep knowledge of NIST, FIPS, JSIG, DAAPM, and/or ICD standards.
• Experience managing cybersecurity for collateral, SAP, and/or SCI environments.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Windows and Linux operating environments.
• Proficiency with tools such as Splunk, Nessus, ACAS, or SCAP.
