TL;DR

Salary: £90,000–£100,000 yearly

What you will do
- Define technical direction, architecture, and long-term system health for the Holiday Experience domain.
- Lead a small team of engineers in shipping high-quality features at a sustainable pace.
- Provide mentorship through 1:1s, performance coaching, and career guidance.
- Develop and maintain post-booking flows, travel companion apps, and AI-powered service tools.
- Balance rapid feature delivery with necessary technical improvements and debt reduction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business goals into technical requirements.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from the Bristol office on a hybrid basis.
- Strong experience building web applications with C#/ASP.NET Core and modern JS frameworks like React or Next.js.
- Previous experience leading a small team or readiness to step into a leadership position.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server with performance optimization skills.
- Holistic approach to systems design with a focus on reliability, observability, and maintainability.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
