TL;DR

Head Of Commercial Strategy (Pharma): Managing the commercial growth and strategy for the CPHI events portfolio with an accent on driving revenue through digital innovation, sponsorship packages, and key account management. Location: Must be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Role requires in-office presence at least three days per week with some flexibility for remote work.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to accelerate business growth within the pharma events portfolio.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Senior Key Account Managers to optimize partnerships and revenue.
  • Drive digital innovation and sponsorship initiatives through the Agile Sponsorship Hub.
  • Conduct market research and utilize analytics to inform business plans and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across brand, content, and marketing teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage budgets, performance reporting, and monitor commercial activity metrics.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  • Proven experience managing teams at a senior leadership level.
  • Track record of driving ancillary revenue through digital channels and sponsorship.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, event management, and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and financial performance reporting.
  • Ability and availability for travel approximately 1-2 times per month.

  • Experience using Salesforce.
