TL;DR

IT Product Owner HRIT (Medior): Driving the evolution and digitization of the HR ecosystem at hirify.global with an accent on aligning functional requirements with scalable IT solutions across the full HR value chain. Focus on managing vendor relationships, streamlining HR processes, and ensuring compliance within a complex stakeholder environment.

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands with valid residency/passport, and able to work at least 3 days per week from the Den Haag office.

What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap for HR IT systems including CoreHR, talent, performance, and learning tools.
  • Translate HR business needs into clear epics, user stories, and functional designs.
  • Coordinate delivery efforts with internal product teams, architects, and external vendors.
  • Drive improvements in HR digital maturity and automate manual processes.
  • Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and Dutch regulatory compliance standards.
  • Manage expectations and requirements across HR, Finance, Risk, and IT stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or HR IT consultancy.
  • Must already reside in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit/residency.
  • Availability to work from the Den Haag office at least 3 days per week.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven experience working with SaaS HR solutions such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or AFAS.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in HR digital transformation and system integrations.
  • Deep affinity with privacy, security, and data compliance in HR environments.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced tech or telecom industry.
