What you will do
- Define and execute the enterprise EMR interoperability strategy aligned with business growth targets.
- Lead end-to-end integration delivery, standardizing intake, prioritization, and project governance (RACI, timelines, RAID logs).
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of analysts, integration specialists, and program managers.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, including Redox and EMR providers, to ensure high system reliability and SLA adherence.
- Oversee HL7/FHIR connectivity, configuration, and monitoring to ensure accurate transmission of clinical orders and results.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to automate workflows and improve integration platform scalability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in EMR integrations, interoperability, or healthcare IT.
- 5+ years leading teams and scaling cross-functional programs.
- Hands-on expertise with HL7 v2, FHIR, and integration engines like Redox or Mirth.
- Proven track record delivering integrations with platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, and others.
- Strong program management skills with focus on risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Solid understanding of HIPAA privacy/security requirements.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and audit-ready healthcare processes.
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or Engineering.
