What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, adaptive trading platforms for internal and external clients.
• Implement and manage changes related to US Cash and Options market structures and regulations.
• Collaborate with traders, sales teams, compliance officers, and other engineering units.
• Gather and refine requirements for new trading features and system improvements.
• Deploy reliable solutions within a high-stakes, low-latency production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C++.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
• Must be based in New York, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Event Sourcing (Sequenced core stream) architectures.
• Knowledge of JVM internals and low-latency tuning.
• Experience developing exchange connectivity systems.
