What you will do

• Implement technical security requirements and manage security policies and governance.
• Analyze organizational roles to create and maintain robust access policies.
• Troubleshoot security incidents and optimize network performance across global infrastructure.
• Support and lead security audits including SOC2 and ISO27001 compliance.
• Document internal and external processes using Wiki and Jira to prioritize security workloads.
• Provide third-line technical resolution and support for a 24/7 callout rotation.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Birmingham or Ipswich
• Strong expertise in networking principles (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and firewalls.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and network services (DNS, NTP, Radius, LDAP).
• Proven experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a strong security culture and support compliance audits.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 technical callout rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a fast-paced ISP environment.
• Background in continuous application deployments across routers, switches, and servers.
