What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Document architectural designs and run targeted experiments to validate technical approaches.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews to ensure quality standards and system performance.
• Collaborate with product owners to define and deliver projects that meet complex business goals.
• Maintain operations of live services, including participation in on-call rotations to mitigate issues.
• Mentor team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and code ownership.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• 7-9+ years of professional software engineering experience depending on degree level.
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture and cloud-based environments.
• Ability to pass specialized security screenings, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong knowledge of production system monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience driving cross-functional projects with product management and design teams.
