What you will do

• Take ownership of small-scale infrastructure deployment projects from initial planning to final turn-up.
• Perform physical data center tasks including hardware racking, stacking, and cabling.
• Administer servers remotely using IPMI/BMC tools and assist with provisioning and firmware updates.
• Coordinate with logistics partners and data center providers across global network sites.
• Utilize AI to perform data validation, gap analysis, and create automation scripts for deployment workflows.
• Present a final project to senior engineering leadership.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in London or Lisbon.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing/switching) and server hardware components.
• Comfort working with project tracking tools like Jira or Excel.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn AI-integrated workflows for infrastructure data integrity.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or CompTIA Network+.
• Experience building home network labs (GNS3, EVE-NG).
• Exposure to Linux environments and BGP routing protocols.
• Multilingual communication skills.
