What you will do

• Architect characterization procedures and tests to ensure compliance with SAS, SATA, PCIe, NVMe, DDR4, and ONFI standards.
• Review and execute robust validation test plans on prototype silicon.
• Develop Python scripts to control test equipment and automate validation tasks.
• Partner with board development teams to identify and resolve signal quality and layout issues.
• Drive technical debug and resolution of complex issues at the system level.
• Educate Field Application Engineers on new product features and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Solid understanding of transmission line theory and high-speed I/O operation.
• Proficiency with lab equipment including VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to write and debug programs in Python, with additional experience in C and MATLAB.
• Experience with Analog simulation tools like SPICE or ADS.
