What you will do

  • Author and maintain technical requirements for camera and inertial navigation systems.
  • Partner with internal systems teams to decompose high-level requirements into detailed component specifications.
  • Collaborate with automotive Tier-1 suppliers to execute projects and remove technical bottlenecks.
  • Design and oversee robust test plans for lab-based and real-world field trials.
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution during design, prototyping, and production phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Hardware, or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Direct experience with camera and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) sensor modalities.
  • Proficiency with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORS and Jama.
  • Understanding of automotive ECUs and communication protocols like CAN, PCIe, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards and high-speed signaling principles.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ISO 26262 standards or ASPICE.
  • Background in programming with C, C++, or Python.
  • Practical experience in evaluating large sensor datasets.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
