What you will do
- Create props and modular environment kits for level art needs.
- Ensure assets follow visual direction, scale, and performance budgets.
- Collaborate with level artists to ensure kits are efficient and reusable.
- Maintain consistency across materials and detail levels.
- Import and set up kits and assets in the game engine.
- Communicate with art and design teams for visual alignment and feedback.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter). Experience with Blender is preferred.
- Understanding of stylization principles in game art.
- Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time environments.
- Understanding of modular environment design principles.
- Experience with a modern game engine (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine, Lumberyard etc).
- Good English (at least B1 - spoken and written) for day-to-day team/customer communication.
